Why Terrilink exists
The reality
In 2014, Christophe Palous and Stéphane Rouquette launched Aveyron Worldwide on LinkedIn: connecting professionals from Aveyron scattered across more than 40 countries. The goal: mutual support, opportunities, and lasting connections between expatriates.
Ten years later, the community exceeds 5,500 members. But the limitation becomes evident: LinkedIn, Facebook, and WhatsApp allow discussion — not network structuring.
- Impossible to have an actionable member database
- No structured matching between profiles and opportunities
- No tracking of interactions or engagement
- No dedicated tool to animate the community
The response May 2024
May 2024: faced with this reality, I develop the first version of Terrilink for Aveyron Worldwide. Goal: prove that a dedicated platform can transform the management of a dispersed community.
Faced with enthusiastic feedback, the vision expands. Terrilink becomes a complete platform:
- geolocated directory with searchable profiles
- event management with integrated registrations
- private messaging and discussion groups
- job space and opportunities
- automated matching between members and needs
The result
Today, Aveyron Worldwide relies on a unique platform that centralizes members, exchanges, and initiatives. The network gains in visibility, efficiency, and animation capacity.
The ambition
Terrilink is designed for all professional or diasporic communities facing the same limitations. You need a tool that structures your network — not just another messaging app.
